James S. Tucker, 69, of Russellville, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at his home. The son of William and Lettie Mae Brigman Tucker, he was born April 7, 1938 in Pope County. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Delbert Tucker and two sisters, Dorothy Branscum and Flossie Tucker.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Louise Tucker of Russellville; a son, Jimmy Tucker of Russellville; two daughters, Rhonda Harris & husband Buck of Pottsville, Terri Metz & husband Charles of London; seven grandchildren, Michael Tucker, Alisha Tucker, David Tucker of Dover, Whitney Harris, Jake Harris of Pottsville, Micaela Bowden and Clay Metz of London.

Graveside Funeral Service and burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2007 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector. Rev. Tom Edwards will officiate. Arrangements are by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
